CHOICES 2016 / Judit Reigl

From the 21st to the 22nd of May, we will participate in the collectors weekend Choices 2016 at  Palais de Tokyo presenting The Art of the Fugue by Judit Reigl!

The 3rd edition of CHOICES Collectors Weekend will take place in Paris on 21-22 May 2016. During 2 days, CHOICES offers an itinerary through some 40 Parisian galleries. This year’s
group show is hosted by the Palais de Tokyo. The itinerary of the 3rd edition will take visitors to Belleville and Pantin, Saint-Germain-des-Prés and Matignon, the Marais and the Palais-Royal. The programme includes private views and performances as well as meetings with artists, gallery owners and curators. Over the weekend, the exhibition at the Palais de Tokyo will show the works of some forty artists, one per participating gallery. After Nicolas Bourriaud for the first edition and Alfred Pacquement for the second, Laurent Le Bon and Emilie Bouvard (respectively President and Curator in charge of contemporary art at the Picasso Museum) have agreed to share their outlook on the selection of works put forward by galleries. This atypical curatorial approach, set in the iconic Palais de Tokyo, aims to promote the contemporary art scene in Paris. A key event for contemporary art in spring, CHOICES Collectors Weekend has become, over the past two years, a must for galleries in Paris, and includes 15 new galleries in 2016. In order to showcase the work of galleries, CHOICES brings together the different players of the art world: collectors in France and abroad, gallery owners and art lovers can meet around artists and artworks.
CHOICES works with private and public partners to extend its outreach and to foster encounters between art lovers, art world professionals and collectors. Panel discussions will be organized beforehand in collaboration with partners such as AXA ART, Silencio and the Palais de Tokyo.
CHOICES also invites its visitors to discover places and institutions that demonstrate the vibrancy of the contemporary art scene in Paris, with partner exhibitions at the Fondation d’entreprise Ricard, Les Bernardins and Maison Rouge.
