The Minotaure Gallery proposes for this new edition of the Art + Design Salon a fascinating travel in abstraction, throughout artworks of pioneer artists, from the Section d’Or to Abstract art.

Abstraction will be shown through several of its steps, from the Puteaux’s group and the Section d’Or Fair in 1912, personifi ed by artists such as Delaunay or Kupka, and through cubo-futurism with a work by Marie Vassilieff dated from 1913, constructivism with Kassàk and Moholy-Nagy, orphism with Delaunay and Kupka, purism with Charchoune, Abstraction-Creation with Calder, Beothy and Tutundjian, and fi nally, abstract painting and more specially the 50s’ Ecole de Paris with Poliakoff and Lanskoy.
